computer blue screen–: How do I get rid of the blue screen on my computer?
When I try to watch a video on the Internet or after a while using the computer, a blue screen covers the entire monitor and there’s a buzzing noise. The message says the computer’s doing it to prevent damage, and to uninstall the driver the message mentions, but there’s no driver mentioned. It also says to change video options, but I really don’t know how to do that. Can someone help please?

Oh boy that’s the Blue-screen of Death it means your PC has some serious hardware issues, sadly there’s nothing you can do at home to fix it, it has to be check by a pro technician, so BACK UP YOUR PERSONAL DATA ASAP cause an imminent hardware failure is about to happen and take it to a technician’s he and only he can find out what the issue is and solve it. Other “home remedy” solutions will do more harm than good at this point and make things worse.
Same happened to me last November and it turns out it was a hard disc failure…got a new one now!

Hey dude funny thing my computer was just doing that then i got it fixed. I may have a sollution but i might know how you got it.You might of watched videos from a strange site or downloaded it from somewere. Tell me this what kind of computer do you have, what is the model, What is your platform “example” windows 7,windows XP or vista. let me know i might know how to fix it.

computer blue screen–: When I start up my computer the blue screen problem comes up?
Last night all I did was defrag my computer and then I get up and the blue screen of death thing comes up. I tried going into safe mode and all of that and it won’t even let me do that. I do not have windows XP disc. What does anyone recommend I do to solve this problem. Please help??

You’re going to have to send it in. It’s not something a person who just uses a computer to fix. You’d need a professional in your area. If I was in your area, I’d have it fixed in ten minutes.

Defragging is something you only need to maybe 2 or 3 times a year. Defragging every week just wears out your harddrive faster.
However, there are other things that may have happened.
1. If you machine tried to go into sleep or hibernation mode while it was defragging, you may have corrupted some data.
2. You may have a virus that had a file that was in-use and your machine tried to move it during the defrag. Viruses don’t like it when you do that.
3. If you were on battery power while trying to defrag and your battery died, you machine would turn off during a movement of files and that could corrupt your data.
Whatever is in the harddrive’s cache is what the drive has not written to the platters yet. When the power dies, the cache disappears instantly.
