Q&A–: How do I turn my Vizio’s blue screen into a computer screen?
I was loaned my brother’s laptop this morning for a few weeks, but I can’t get the computer to turn on. The only way to get it to turn is the remote, and that just takes it to the blue screen. I click input, and put on RGB, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AV, TV, and Component, and the only one that doesn’t go to a blue screen is the TV. I know the computer works, because he was on it this morning before he left. Please help!

Ensure that the computer is outputting a signal to the TV. Hold down the Fn key and press the key for CRT/LCD (may be a video output symbol instead); this is usually F7 or F8. Or on Windows 7, you can also hold down Windows key and press P.
You’re probably connected via RGB (the VGA cable), so try that input.

Question–: Why is my computer screen blue?
The screen on my computer tends to have a blue tint to it.
Then, there are times that it is perfectly normal, and will switch back and fourth at will.
It’s not the monitor, because we used a completely different monitor and cable, and it did exactly the same thing.

Analog Graphics card outputs usually have 3 separate pins for red blue and green, looks like the red pin has a dry solder in your case. If its an onboard graphics card, there is very little chance of it getting repaired.

I got the 2007 edition of PC-Cillin from TrendMicro installed on my computer, and it makes it crash. There is an incompatibility with the VPN (Virtual Private Network) that I use to access my email. The TrendMicro technical support informs me that they have to do a "rebuild" of their software and they will let me know in a couple months when it is done. So, I don’t recommend buying TrendMicro products.
