Turn the switch on.
if it doesn’t work it is probably broken and you will need to buy a new one. (around $ 50-$ 100)

Check for cord fray. If the cord is frayed far enough from the plug, you can splice the wires back together. I had to use use a soldering kit on my IBook and Compaq. Often times the problem is at either end. If the plug wiggles freely, you may have a separation from the mother board. If you can open the laptop yourself you can fix it. It’s hard to do.

well laptop chargers cant really get revived or fixed. thats why for the most part, electronics typically get replaced rather than repaired..
if its not giving any voltage then that means the charger is completely gone.. i would suggest you look into getting a new one.
i had to get a new charger recently and i went to an online store that had free lifetime warranty which each charger sold.. i forgot the name but i can look it up if you want

computer not working–: Why isn’t the volume on my computer working?
My speakers connected to the computer are not working for some reason. I’ve unplugged and plugged everything and I can’t seem to find the problem.

Try reinstalling the driver. If that fails try turning on the speakers

Go to the control panel and click on the sound Icon. If the internal speakers work you should be able to click on a sound tab and see a black arrow that points to right. If the arrow is black the sound is working and your problem will be your speakers. If the arrow is grey try to re enstall the drivers for the sound card.

Check the sound properties in the control panel. Check your volume settings on your computer. If your sound properties are inaccessible then you need to install your sound drivers.

This could be a mine-field. Have you used speakers on your system before? You need a sound card, it’s driver and they need to be installed and activated. In start menu, click help and support, look for sound problems and follow til you find the sound troubleshooter. Do headphones work, it may be the speakers. Also try control panel. Sorry but you’re very vague with the question

You may have to first check to see if the volume was left on mute mode. Which that is the turn of the volume mode.
If the worst comes to the worst, you may have to unstall and then reinstall the volume software.
