Question: Can someone help me identify and remove a computer virus?

I beleive there is a virus on my computer. Symptoms; when I select buttons of links nothing happens. While in internet explorer Browser and at specific sites(Yahoo, Microsoft, etc). When I select the link to Hotmail or type it in the search window it will not go to those addresses. Also, when there is a button or link on the page it doesn’t show up . When I select the Delete , Move, or Spam button in Yahoo mail nothing happens. I have and had previous to two days ago virus protection software (free and Full version of AVG) and have run numerous others but no VIRUS shows up. What is the problem with my computer, please Help!

Dowmload adaware and spybot. Run both after updating the def files. Have you rebooted?

IF you think you have a virus goto www.housecall65.trendmicro.com and scan your entire PC. You should make sure you Java, direct X, active X are all up to date as well. Sound like you don’t have the plug-ins necessary. Then I would swap to firefox as your browser – IE is terrible. So unsecure.

dont worry one of the best way for this which i have tried onmy computer is download the yahoo toolbar and with the help of this u can remove any spyware from ur compute r
and SEOAND way is that go to phazeddl.com and type the name of any good antivirus this site will give u free of cost software

It isn’t a virus. You only need to ajust your IE setting to fix it. Open IE click on Tools>Click Internet setting> go to advanced> and scroll down> and finally check the Use SLL 2.0 box.
