Upgraded aspire 5315-2698,
this cpu was cheaper than ebay prices which run about 80 bucks and it works. but i kinda feel like it was used because it did not come in original box or anything that said intel it was just a plastic container. it did arrive in condition as specified which was new because it did not look like it was used but felt like it should have came with the intel box and everything. it worked right when i installed it bios picked it on first go and windows picked it up to but installed some drivers by its self and had to restart but then was ready to go my bios version is 1.45 which is the latest one, i do recommend you upgrade your bios if your going to upgrade your 5315 to this.
my original cpu was a celeron m 560 which was a 2.13Ghz processor it could not handle everything i was throwing at it especially playing hd movies. my cpu was so bad every 5 sec video and sound would get unsynced it was annoying among other things it couldnt handle. this cpu ran very hot like around 50 degrees celsius when doing nothing and at 65 or 69 with heavy load
but now upgraded to this and now it runs at 41 degrees when doing nothing and 55 under heavy load and the speed has increased ten time now with a dual core i have upgraded to a 64bit os and now it is roaring it handles everything i throw at it why buy a new computer when i upgraded my cpu to this and 3gb of ram its like a new computer with everything i need for only 80 bucks and im not considering the cost of laptop cuz it was donated to me at no cost if you have a aspire 5315 give it new life with this and more ram only 3gb of course or you will get the bsod
there are no cons to this cpu as long as you know how to properly handle and install cpu’s
i do recommend this seller for anyone looking for a great cpu
