Rainy:The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!
I am getting a Norton Anti Virus pop up box that won’t go away saying that I have a downloader virus that is unable to be repaired. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to get rid of this virus if Norton can’t… b/c it is slowing down my computer and when I am online I can’t get rid of all the pop-ups… PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Avast or AVG much better….free, very effective and doesn’t consume a lot of power like Norton…..also they are small programes to download….

see if u can find out where it is installed. like if it names the program then type that name in the start menu search function
then go to the directory where it is take note of where the directory is..restart your pc press f8 to run in safe mode.. go to that directory that the virus is at..and delete it then restart in normal.. try that

Hi, I have had similiar problems with viruses. The best thing to do is to use SmitFraudfix. If that doesn’t work the next best thing is ComboFix. Both of these can easily be found on the internet using Google. One or the other will definitely fix your problem.

Best thing to do in this situation is booting your computer in safe mode, then scanning it for viruses. If the problem still persist, then you should get a different anti virus software.

U try to Quarantine. Else go to safe mode delete the warned file.

Turn off system restore.
Start in safe mode without internet & do a full scan.
this should clear the virus, if it does not do a free online scan:

when clean turn system restore back on.
