i have a compaq home computer
with windows xp i think it has a fatal virus as concluded here

if i buy a os cd like at bestbuy will it recover my system??
or will i have to use the cd that came with it when you buy it??
the problem for that cd that came with the pc is that i already used that cd before,where could i buy it??
is there a way to download any of those two cd’s online burn it on my toshiba laptop and use it on my compaq desktop??[[just to save money]] i understand if i have to pay dough for it.

as long as you buy another cd that is the same as your other one it should be fine, it doesn’t have to be the exact disk that the pc came with for you to recover the system. if u wanted to download it go to torrentz.com and search for the two disks.
