Just curious. If it is too broad to tell, can you tell me the most dangerous ones in a list? TIA!

It is the Youtammacon Trojan. It was invented by Bernie Day in 2000.

i would have to say the BIOS virus, its called CIH and most modern BIOS’s are patched against it. but think about it. the BIOS is the lowest level of your system, if that gets taken over, your pretty screwed.
to remove it without any chance of failure means desoldering the BIOS ROM and replacing it with a new one. even flashing the BIOS is risky since you still have to load the BIOS to flash the BIOS, thus running the infection XD

It’s not on your list but polymorphic file infectors like Virut and Sality because there is no cure and only full formatting, deleting partitions and clean installing is the solution.
To be philosophical, the most dangerous is the newbie behind the keyboard and the mouse.
That is true about the BIOS malware. They say even the clean installing won’t work. But you can solve it by having a clean copy of BIOS and knowing how to flash.

Oooooh dear, you made a classic faux pas. Trojans cannot multiply or replicate. I think you supposed to say trojan droppers or trojan downloaders which deposited more malware.
And we can remove trojans relatively easy without formatting and clean installing.
Rootkits are much more dangerous but then again you can argue for trojan rootkits.

Its not a matter of which is the worst computer virus out there…my answer would be >>> The one that totals your pc or one you can’t remove and have to reformat….we all face those dangers no matter how safe you think you are…just one slip and one link..and your computer is done….The Tojan Horses have my vote as the worst…they can multiple fast and put multiple infections on your computer and those target mostly the main System 32 files in your computer …which get you on the internet…
