Rainy:The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!
Getting internet soon, have an HP laptop and need some protection on the internet. Any suggestions for free protection software. I also am interested on what everyone pays for their software and what kind it is.

Avast, pretty sure its free. my computer boyfriend installed it because he knows whats good in the computer world, he downloaded avast for me (:

dont really need one.just dont open attachments in email and download stupid stuff.ad-aware will get rid of spyware,trojans and worms.i have 2 comps without virus scanner because it slows them down really bad

Avast or AVG Anti-virus programs are the common best that I have used. Stay away from Norton and McAfee.

The virus I am talking about goes for the processor chip after jack hammering through the firewall so all the wares do no good. But then again I don’t really know computers at all so don’t quote me exactly but I suspect you know what I am talking about. And it is NOT picked up at a porn site either!
