10 Q&A: $cientology, could someone please explain it to me?
Rainy:The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!
I don’t really know what the religion is about, I’ve looked for some info on the web but I’m still a little confused.
Did the aliens fly the DC 8′s (with rocket engines) through space because their planet was over populated?
Why do you wanna get rid of your space-alien parasite?
Why did they elect Xenu if he was evil?
Why dump the alien bodeis in the volcanoes of Hawaii? Why not some other volcano?
Wouldn’t dropping a hydrogen bomb on the top of each volcano has cataclysmic results?
How did Xenu build the brain-washing facility on earth?
If all this technology (eg a super-collosal 3D motion picture [a quote from L. Ron Hubbard]) existed, how come it took humans so long to rediscover it?
How come it cost so much money?

You assume there is logic in the Xenu Ghost Alien story… that is where you fail

    Answer by Geezah
While I’m not a Scientologist, as I understand it the whole DC-8 fable was written for the same reason mythologies in other religions got written: as a way to remember the underlying lesson.

“You assume there is logic in the Xenu Ghost Alien story… that is where you fail”

he doesnt. hes clearly pointing out the illogical parts by asking a question about them. can you really not figure out what hes doing? just look at the way he spelled scientology

    Answer by Innocent Victim
From the way you spelled it, it seems to me that you understand it perfectly already.

One of the best answers to “What do Scientologists believe?” was posted in August 2008 by Zero Cool. Her answer takes up three A4 pages, so I couldn’t copy it but I encourage you to look up this link and check out her myriad on-line sources:

All I can say is L.Ron H was one hellava science fiction writer. I read at least 10 or more of his ‘earth’ series. What an imagination he had!

Usually the founding fathers of most cults have vivid imaginations. Joseph Smith discovers golden tablets on a farm in PA thus The Book of Mormon. Charles Taze Russell interprets the Egyptian pyramids to indicate the end of the world….thus modern day Jehovah’s Witnesses.

It is easy for me to understand the origins of this ridiculous cult as well. A charismatic fool full of himself.

Charles Taze Russell never interpreted the pyramids of Egypt to mean the end of the world. Charles Taze Russell was never associated with the Jehovah’s Witnesses, nor did Charles Taze Russell believe in the message that is preached by the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
