I live n work in pakistan as a web developer using .net technologies(asp.net, vb.net). But there are not much opportunities to work online. I want to get some projects which i can do in my spare timings or at home. Can you tell me some place on the internet to find such project without paying any fee?

I believe it will be difficult to use any of the big names like rentacoder.com, guru.com, getafreelancer.com and so on. They all start from the idea that the ‘bidders’ (people bidding on projects) should pay a fee. That will assure the people asking for bids that the bidders are serious.
If you don’t want to invest time and money there, you can try to build your personal network, but that will take time and energy. For instance on yahoo.answers 
I work for a company that does .net work. Mail me your coordinates and maybe we can get some projects running in the future.
