“User does not have his/her web cam on line” – But I do! How do I fix this?

Hi,I did the following:
Q&A: “User does not have his/her web cam on line” – But I do! How do I fix this?
Rainy:The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!
I have not used my web cam in a couple years, and today I got it running again. I can get it to display myself in streaming images, but whether inviting someone else (or myself) to view my cam, it gives the message in the title line above.
Any suggestions how to fix this?

check to see if its opening up with the same profile name as the one ur using to chat with..with ur webcam up and running click on PREFERENCES and then to CHANGE USER..check to make sure ur broadcasting with the right name
