i need help with a legal issue and cannot afford an attorney. so i need a site that is absolutely free.

I like findlaw.com, but there are other good sites,too.

www.nolo.com – is a good site fo individuals who aren’t in the legal field
http://www.law.cornell.edu/ – you can find many SCOTUS cases here as well as some state SC highlights, this site also highlights the commercial code and other various legal doctrines
www.oyez.org – follows the SCOTUS and their opinions, briefs landmark cases

There are some. The other two posters listed a couple. But, remember the adage: “You get what you pay for.” You will have to do all the work instead of the work a lawyer would do. And they only have info for you to search through; they will not actually do anything to help you in your case.

Question–: Every time I go on line the web page comes up blank?
has this ever happened to anyone? It seems every time my son uses my lap top he kills my computer. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I did a rollback system restore and nothing

no – i don,t know what did happened to your computer – maybe you need a new hard drive – - i hat the same problem .
but first at all, don,t let your son use the computer – - he is most likely the course of all your problems .
