Q&A–: Is this a good business Idea?
I am going into the business school at my college to create my own business after school dealing with technology. I want to create a business where I can do some sort of technology advising, per say. If anyone knows phone dog, or cnet, those are companies that I look up to. I want to start locally, traveling around the area and advising small businesses, recommending up to date electronics and gadgets based on their needs. Present information to the client based on their current budget, and eventually get a team that can create websites, and do actual engineering/technician work for a lower price than the manufacturer of say item charges.
However, I would like to start creating a couple websites. I want to create 1) a blog 2) my own website 3) forums where people can discuss and argue over the newest technologies, from phones, printers, computers, you name it.
Sound like a good idea? Anyone have any suggestions of a good blogging site and forums where I can post video reviews and such? I need somewhere to start and I think the web would be a good idea to get my services out there. Im 19 by the way.

I believe you are thinking about doing consulting, with an emphasis on technology and the needs of different companies.
It is a good idea, although I think it is a big undertaking that will require a lot of effort and planning. You will have to do research about the market you are targeting and see if it’ll be cost-effective for you to try and compete for their services.
I think companies like this already exist in some form, though they usually target bigger businesses. If you can find a way to capture your market then it’s doable.
