Question–: what is the technology behind the drag and drop functionality on bbc website?
BBC website uses a drag and drop functionality which allows the users to customize the web page according to their preferences.
Wanted to know which technology is being used behind this functionality. Which tools, framework, software language is used ?

The underlying technology is called AJAX (ASynchronous Javascript and XML) . They use variety of tools and frameworks to create the website. Some of the common libraries for AJAX design and programming are prototype, dojo, scriptaculous, google web toolkit and Ajax Control Toolkit. Ajax is used to give user a more responsive experience without the page making roundtrips to the server and back on every user action (traditional application design)

I’m lauching a science and technology news website.
It’s on a different language than English. English speaking market is dominated (and very well, I must admit) by science mag, nature, new scientist…
I already have the website web page done, and the domains registered. It has a CMS-like backoficce and I do not need to spend more money on it (on a short run).
The problem is that I do not have a penny and I need to start earning some bucks so I can give more time to the project, and get some more people to work on it.
Can anyone advise me the best way to start with it all?
